Psalm 132:11

¹¹The Lord swore to David in truth; He will not turn back from it: One of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne.^(A)

Psalm 132:11

New International Version

¹¹The Lord swore an oath to David,^(A)
a sure oath he will not revoke:
“One of your own descendants^(B)
I will place on your throne.

11 And there shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David’s father], and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit.^(A)

11 A shoot^(A) will come up from the stump^(B) of Jesse;^(C)
from his roots a Branch^(D) will bear fruit.^(E)
