⁹ Let your ^(A)priests be ^(B)clothed with righteousness,
    and let your ^(C)saints shout for joy.

^17 (A)He put on righteousness as a breastplate,
    and a helmet of salvation on his head;
he put on garments of vengeance for clothing,
    and wrapped himself in ^(B)zeal as a cloak.

^10 (A)I will greatly rejoice in the Lord;
    my soul shall exult in my God,
^(B)for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;
    he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself ^(C)like a priest with a beautiful headdress,
    ^(D)and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

⁵ Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist,
    and ^(A)faithfulness the belt of his loins.
