134 1 He exhorteth the Levites watching in the Temple, to praise the Lord.

A song of degrees.

1 Behold, praise ye the Lord, all ye [a]servants of the Lord, ye that by night stand in the house of the Lord.

2 Lift up your [b]hands to the Sanctuary, and praise the Lord.

3 The Lord that [c]hath made heaven and earth, bless thee out of Zion.

  2. Psalm 134:2 For their charge was not only to keep the Temple, but to pray there, and to give God thanks.
  3. Psalm 134:3 And therefore hath all power, bless thee with his Fatherly love declared in Zion. Thus the Levites used to praise the Lord, and bless the people.

2 Lift up your hands(D) in the sanctuary(E)

3 May the Lord bless you from Zion,(G)
    he who is the Maker of heaven(H) and earth.
