Psalm 138:6-8

6 Though the Lord is exalted,
He takes note of the humble;
but He knows the haughty from a distance.(A)
7 If I walk into the thick of danger,
You will preserve my life
from the anger of my enemies.(B)
You will extend Your hand;
Your right hand will save me.(C)
8 The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me.(D)
Lord, Your love is eternal;
do not abandon the work of Your hands.(E)

6 Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly;(A)
though lofty, he sees them(B) from afar.
7 Though I walk(C) in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life.(D)
You stretch out your hand(E) against the anger of my foes;(F)
with your right hand(G) you save me.(H)
8 The Lord will vindicate(I) me;
your love, Lord, endures forever(J)—
do not abandon(K) the works of your hands.(L)
