¹⁶ Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

⁹ A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

²⁴ Man's goings are of the Lord; how can a man then understand his own way?

²³ O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

⁶ And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

¹¹ In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
