⁸ lightning and hail,^(A) snow and clouds,
    stormy winds that do his bidding,^(B)

³¹ rejoicing in his whole world
    and delighting in mankind.^(A)

²¹ Prepare a place to slaughter his children^(A)
    for the sins of their ancestors;^(B)
they are not to rise to inherit the land
    and cover the earth with their cities.

⁶ In days to come Jacob will take root,^(A)
    Israel will bud and blossom^(B)
    and fill all the world with fruit.^(C)
