Psalm 16:3-5

3 As for those in the land who belong to You, they are the great ones in whom is all my joy. 4 Those who have traded for another god bring many troubles on themselves. I will not take part in their altar gifts of blood. And I will not take their names upon my lips.

5 The Lord is all that I am to receive, and my cup. My future is in Your hands.

3 I say of the holy people(A) who are in the land,(B)
    “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods(C) will suffer(D) more and more.
    I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
    or take up their names(E) on my lips.

5 Lord, you alone are my portion(F) and my cup;(G)
    you make my lot(H) secure.
