3 “Let us tear off their chains
and free ourselves from their restraints.”^[c](F)

¹⁰ Devise a plan; it will fail.^(A)
Make a prediction; it will not happen.
For God is with us.^[a](B)

³ Egypt’s spirit will be disturbed within it,
and I will frustrate its plans.
Then they will seek idols, ghosts,
spirits of the dead, and spiritists.^(A)
