⁸ Ask it of Me, and ^(A)I will certainly give ^(B)the ^[a]nations as Your inheritance,
And the ^(C)ends of the earth as Your possession.
⁹ You shall ^[b](D)break them with a ^[c]rod of iron,
You shall ^(E)shatter them like ^[d]earthenware.’”

¹⁰ Now then, you kings, ^(F)use insight;
Let yourselves be instructed, you ^[e]judges of the earth.
¹¹ Serve the Lord with ^[f](G)reverence
And rejoice with ^(H)trembling.
^12 [g]Kiss ^(I)the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way,
For ^(J)His wrath may be kindled quickly.
How blessed are all who ^(K)take refuge in Him!

¹² For the ^(A)nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish,
And the nations will be utterly ruined.
