7 For thou shalt give him to be a blessing for ever and ever: thou shalt make him joyful in gladness with thy countenance.

6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.(A)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.(B)
7 Some trust in chariots(C) and some in horses,(D)
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.(E)
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,(F)
but we rise up(G) and stand firm.(H)
