²⁸ for dominion belongs to the Lord^(A)
    and he rules over the nations.

⁷ For God is the King of all the earth;^(A)
    sing to him a psalm^(B) of praise.

⁸ God reigns^(C) over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.^(D)
9 The nobles of the nations assemble
    as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kings^[a] of the earth belong to God;^(E)
    he is greatly exalted.^(F)

⁴ May the nations be glad and sing for joy,^(A)
    for you rule the peoples with equity^(B)
    and guide the nations of the earth.^(C)
