⁵ Guide me in your truth^(A) and teach me,
    for you are God my Savior,^(B)
    and my hope is in you^(C) all day long.

⁹ He guides^(A) the humble in what is right
    and teaches them^(B) his way.

¹⁷ Since my youth, God, you have taught^(A) me,
    and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.^(B)

¹⁷ This is what the Lord says—
    your Redeemer,^(A) the Holy One^(B) of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
    who teaches^(C) you what is best for you,
    who directs^(D) you in the way^(E) you should go.
