¹⁸ Therefore Yahweh ^(A)waits with longing to be gracious to you,
And therefore He is on ^(B)high to have compassion on you.
For Yahweh is a ^(C)God of justice;
How blessed are all those who ^(D)wait for Him.

³ For the vision is yet for the ^(A)appointed time;
It pants toward its end, and it will not ^[a]lie.
Though it tarries, ^(B)wait for it;
For it will certainly come; it ^(C)will not delay.
