Psalm 31:21-23
American Standard Version

21 Blessed be Jehovah;
For he hath showed me his marvellous lovingkindness in a strong city.
22 As for me, I said in my [a]haste,
I am cut off from before thine eyes:
Nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications,
When I cried unto thee.
23 Oh love Jehovah, all ye his saints:
Jehovah preserveth [b]the faithful,
And plentifully rewardeth him that dealeth proudly.

21 Praise be to the Lord,(A)
    for he showed me the wonders of his love(B)
    when I was in a city under siege.(C)
22 In my alarm(D) I said,
    “I am cut off(E) from your sight!”
Yet you heard my cry(F) for mercy
    when I called to you for help.

23 Love the Lord, all his faithful people!(G)
    The Lord preserves those who are true to him,(H)
    but the proud he pays back(I) in full.
