¹⁶ The face of the Lord is set
against those who do what is evil,^(A)
to erase^[a] all memory of them from the earth.^(B)

¹³ Let the line of his descendants be cut off;
let their name be blotted out in the next generation.^(A)

¹⁵ Let their sins^[a] always remain before the Lord,
and let Him erase^[b] all memory of them from the earth.^(A)
