19 Let not them that are mine enemies unjustly rejoice over me, neither let them [a]wink with the eye, that hate me without a cause.
20 For they speak not as friends: but they imagine deceitful words against the [b]quiet of the land.
21 And they gaped on me with their mouths, saying, Aha, aha, [c]our eye hath seen.

New International Version
19 Do not let those gloat over me
who are my enemies(A) without cause;
do not let those who hate me without reason(B)
maliciously wink the eye.(C)
20 They do not speak peaceably,
but devise false accusations(D)
against those who live quietly in the land.
21 They sneer(E) at me and say, “Aha! Aha!(F)
With our own eyes we have seen it.”
