Psalm 37:18-20
Living Bible

18 Day by day the Lord observes the good deeds done by godly men,[a] and gives them eternal rewards. 19 He cares for them when times are hard; even in famine, they will have enough. 20 But evil men shall perish. These enemies of God will wither like grass and disappear like smoke.

18 The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care,(A)

19 In times of disaster they will not wither;
    in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

    Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field,
    they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke.(D)
