New International Version

³⁰The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom,^(A)
and their tongues speak what is just.

¹³On ^(A)the lips of the discerning, wisdom is found,
But ^(B)a rod is for the back of him who has no ^[a]sense.

¹³Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning,^(A)
but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense.^(B)
