²⁰They repay me evil for good and hate me for standing for the right.

²¹Don’t leave me, Lord; don’t go away! ²²Come quickly! Help me, O my Savior.

²⁰Those who repay my good with evil^(A)
lodge accusations^(B) against me,
though I seek only to do what is good.

²¹Lord, do not forsake me;^(C)
do not be far^(D) from me, my God.
²²Come quickly^(E) to help me,^(F)
my Lord and my Savior.^(G)

²⁰They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

²¹Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me.

²²Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
