⁷My back is filled with searing pain;^(A)
there is no health^(B) in my body.

⁷For my loins are full of inflammation,
And there is no soundness in my flesh.

¹⁰Then I would still have this consolation^(A)—
my joy in unrelenting pain^(B)—
that I had not denied the words^(C) of the Holy One.^(D)

Though in anguish I would exult,
He will not spare;
