⁹Even my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted (relied on and was confident), who ate of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.^(A)

⁹Even my close friend,^(A)
someone I trusted,
one who shared my bread,
has turned^[a] against me.^(B)

⁷⁰Jesus answered them, Did I not choose you, the Twelve? And [yet] one of you is a devil (of the evil one and a false accuser).
