²⁰If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;

⁹ ^(A)my eye grows dim through sorrow.
Every day I call upon you, O Lord;
I ^(B)spread out my hands to you.

⁹Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: Lord, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.

⁶^(A)I stretch out my hands to you;
^(B)my soul thirsts for you like ^(C)a parched land. Selah

⁶I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
