7 For God is the (A)King of all the earth;
Sing praises (B)with a psalm of wisdom.
8 God (C)reigns over the nations,
God [a]sits on (D)His holy throne.
9 The [b](E)princes of the people have assembled as the (F)people of the God of Abraham,
For the (G)shields of the earth belong to God;
He is (H)highly exalted.

8 God reigns(C) over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.(D)
9 The nobles of the nations assemble
    as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kings[a] of the earth belong to God;(E)
    he is greatly exalted.(F)
