9 That he should (A)live on eternally,
That he should not [a](B)undergo decay.

10 For he sees that even (C)wise men die;
The (D)stupid and the senseless alike perish
And (E)leave their wealth to others.
11 Their [b](F)inner thought is that their houses (G)are forever
And their dwelling places to all generations;
They have (H)called their lands after their own names.

11 Their tombs(G) will remain their houses[a] forever,
    their dwellings for endless generations,(H)
