10 For he sees that even (C)wise people die;
The (D)foolish and the stupid alike perish
And (E)leave their wealth to others.
11 Their [b](F)inner thought is that their houses (G)are forever
And their dwelling places to all generations;
They have (H)named their lands after their own names.

that the foolish and the senseless(D) also perish,

11 Their tombs(G) will remain their houses[a] forever,
their dwellings for endless generations,(H)
