8 Lord, lead me in Your righteousness(A)
because of my adversaries;[a]
make Your way straight before me.(B)
9 For there is nothing reliable in what they say;[b](C)
destruction is within them;
their throat is an open grave;
they flatter with their tongues.(D)
10 Punish them, God;
let them fall by their own schemes.(E)
Drive them out(F) because of their many crimes,
for they rebel against You.(G)

9 Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
their heart is filled with malice.
Their throat is an open grave;(C)

10 Declare them guilty, O God!
Let their intrigues be their downfall.
Banish them for their many sins,(E)
for they have rebelled(F) against you.
