Psalm 5:9-11
American Standard Version
9 For there is no [a]faithfulness in their mouth;
Their inward part is [b]very wickedness;
Their throat is an open sepulchre;
They [c]flatter with their tongue.
10 Hold them guilty, O God;
Let them fall [d]by their own counsels;
Thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions;
For they have rebelled against thee.
11 [e]But let all those that take refuge in thee rejoice,
Let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them:
Let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

9 Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
their heart is filled with malice.
Their throat is an open grave;(A)

10 Declare them guilty, O God!
Let their intrigues be their downfall.
Banish them for their many sins,(C)
for they have rebelled(D) against you.
11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
let them ever sing for joy.(E)
Spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name(F) may rejoice in you.(G)
