Psalm 51:4-6
Christian Standard Bible
4 Against you—you alone—I have sinned
and done this evil in your sight.(A)
So you are right when you pass sentence;
you are blameless when you judge.(B)
5 Indeed, I was guilty when I was born;
I was sinful when my mother conceived me.(C)
6 Surely you desire integrity in the inner self,
and you teach me wisdom deep within.(D)
Psalm 51:4-6
New International Version
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned(A)
and done what is evil in your sight;(B)
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.(C)
5 Surely I was sinful(D) at birth,(E)
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom(F) in that secret place.(G)
