²I cry out to God Most High,
to God, who vindicates me.^(A)

⁶For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work ^[a]among you will complete it ^[b]by ^(A)the day of Christ Jesus.

⁶being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion^(A) until the day of Christ Jesus.^(B)
