6 God has spoken (A)in his holiness:[a]
“With exultation (B)I will divide up (C)Shechem
and portion out the Vale of (D)Succoth.
7 (E)Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine;
(F)Ephraim is (G)my helmet;
Judah is my (H)sceptre.
8 (I)Moab is my washbasin;
upon Edom I (J)cast my shoe;
over (K)Philistia I shout in triumph.”[b]

“In triumph I will parcel out Shechem(A)
and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.(B)
7 Gilead(C) is mine, and Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim(D) is my helmet,
Judah(E) is my scepter.(F)
8 Moab is my washbasin,
on Edom I toss my sandal;
over Philistia I shout in triumph.(G)”

7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
8 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
