English Standard Version

7 On God rests my (A)salvation and my glory;
    my mighty rock, (B)my refuge is God.

8 (C)Trust in him at all times, O people;
    (D)pour out your heart before him;
    God is (E)a refuge for us. Selah

9 (F)Those of low estate are but a breath;
    those of high estate (G)are a delusion;
in the balances they go up;
    (H)they are together lighter than a breath.

New International Version

7 My salvation and my honor depend on God[a];
    he is my mighty rock, my refuge.(A)
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;(B)
    pour out your hearts to him,(C)
    for God is our refuge.

9 Surely the lowborn(D) are but a breath,(E)
    the highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance,(F) they are nothing;
    together they are only a breath.
