Psalm 62:7-9
New Life Version

7 My being safe and my honor rest with God. My safe place is in God, the rock of my strength. 8 Trust in Him at all times, O people. Pour out your heart before Him. God is a safe place for us.

9 Men who are not important come to nothing. Men who are important are a lie. When weighed they go up. Together they weigh less than a breath.

New International Version

7 My salvation and my honor depend on God[a];
    he is my mighty rock, my refuge.(A)
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;(B)
    pour out your hearts to him,(C)
    for God is our refuge.

9 Surely the lowborn(D) are but a breath,(E)
    the highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance,(F) they are nothing;
    together they are only a breath.
