²⁵In front are the singers,^(A) after them the musicians;^(B)
with them are the young women playing the timbrels.^(C)

²⁵The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

⁸The joyful timbrels^(A) are stilled,
the noise^(B) of the revelers^(C) has stopped,
the joyful harp^(D) is silent.^(E)

⁸The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
