⁷I have become a sign^(A) to many;

⁷I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

³³Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution;^(A) at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated.^(B)

³³Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
