Psalm 73:11-13

¹¹They say, “God will not know;
the Most High will not find out.”
¹²That is what the wicked are like.
They have plenty and are always getting more.

¹³Is it for nothing, then, that I have kept myself pure
and have not committed sin?

¹¹They say, “How would God know?
Does the Most High know anything?”

¹²This is what the wicked are like—
always free of care,^(A) they go on amassing wealth.^(B)

¹³Surely in vain^(C) I have kept my heart pure
and have washed my hands in innocence.^(D)
