15 But You, O Lord, are a God (A)compassionate and gracious,
Slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and [a]truth.
16 (B)Turn to me, and be gracious to me;
Oh (C)grant Your strength to Your slave,
And save the (D)son of Your maidservant.
17 [b](E)Show me a sign for good,
That those who hate me may (F)see it and be ashamed,
Because You, O Yahweh, (G)have helped me and comforted me.
