Psalm 87:3-5
International Standard Version
3 Glorious things are spoken about you,
city of God.
4 I will mention Rahab and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me—
including Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia[a]—
“This one was born there,” they say.[b]
5 Indeed, about Zion it will be said:
“More than one person[c] was born in it,” and
“The Most High himself did[d] it.”

3 Glorious things are said of you,

4 “I will record Rahab[b](B) and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia(C) too, and Tyre(D), along with Cush[c]—
and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”[d](E)
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said,
“This one and that one were born in her,
and the Most High himself will establish her.”
