Psalm 9:4-6

Darby Translation

⁴For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously.

⁵Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

⁶O enemy! destructions are ended for ever.—Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished.

Psalm 9:4-6

New International Version

⁴For you have upheld my right^(A) and my cause,^(B)
    sitting enthroned^(C) as the righteous judge.^(D)
⁵You have rebuked the nations^(E) and destroyed the wicked;
    you have blotted out their name^(F) for ever and ever.
⁶Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
    you have uprooted their cities;^(G)
    even the memory of them^(H) has perished.
