Psalm 95:10

¹⁰For forty years^(A) I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray,^(B)
and they have not known my ways.’^(C)

¹⁰Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

⁴“Say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says:

“‘When people fall down, do they not get up?^(A)
When someone turns away,^(B) do they not return?

⁴Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
