Assyrians Destroyed

³⁶ Then the ^(A)angel of the Lord went out and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when the rest got up early in the morning, behold, all of ^[a]the 185,000 were ^[b]dead.

²⁵ He responded, “Look! I see four men untied and ^(A)walking about in the middle of the fire ^[a]unharmed, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the ^(B)gods!”

²² My God ^(A)sent His angel and ^(B)shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me, since ^[a]I was found innocent before Him; and also ^[b]toward you, O king, I have committed no crime.”

¹⁹ But during the night ^(A)an angel of the Lord opened the gates of the prison, and leading them out, he said,

⁷ And behold, ^(A)an angel of the Lord suddenly ^(B)stood near Peter, and a light shone in the cell; and he struck Peter’s side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And ^(C)his chains fell off his hands.
