¹⁷ Therefore he had ^(A)to be made like his brothers in every respect, ^(B)so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest ^(C)in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

³⁴ And no longer shall each one teach his neighbour and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord’, ^(A)for they shall all know me, ^(B)from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For ^(C)I will forgive their iniquity, and ^(D)I will remember their sin no more.”
