²⁰ As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and ^(A)the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and ^(B)the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

To the Church in Ephesus

2 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: ‘The words of ^(A)him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, ^(B)who walks among the seven golden lampstands.

³⁷ You shall make seven lamps for it. And the lamps ^(A)shall be set up so as ^(B)to give light on the space in front of it.

²⁰ the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold ^(A)to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed;

² And he said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see, and behold, ^(A)a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and ^(B)seven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it.
