11 Then I was given a measuring stick like a rod. I was told, “Go and measure the temple[a] of God and the altar, and count the number of people worshiping there. 2 But do not measure the yard outside the temple. Leave it alone. It has been given to the people who are not Jews. They will walk on the holy city for 42 months.
