11 And they (A)overcame him because of (B)the blood of the Lamb and because of (C)the word of their witness, and they (D)did not love their life even to death. 12 For this reason, (E)rejoice, O heavens and (F)you who [a]dwell in them. (G)Woe to the earth and the sea, because (H)the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only (I)a short time.”
13 And when the (J)dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted (K)the woman who gave birth to the male child.

they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.(D)
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens(E)
and you who dwell in them!

because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”
13 When the dragon(H) saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.(I)
