Revelation 16:10-12

International Standard Version

¹⁰The fifth angel poured his bowl on the throne of the beast. Its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People^[a] gnawed on their tongues in anguish ¹¹and cursed the God of heaven because of their pain-filled sores. But they did not repent of their behavior.

¹²The sixth angel poured his bowl on the great Euphrates River. Its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the east.

¹⁰And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

¹¹And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

¹²And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
