7 (A)To the degree that she glorified herself and (B)lived [a]sensuously, to the same degree give her torment and mourning, for she says in her heart, ‘(C)I sit as a queen and I am not a widow, and will never see mourning.’ 8 For this reason (D)in one day her plagues will come, [b]pestilence and mourning and famine, and she will be (E)burned up with fire; for the Lord God who judges her (F)is strong.
9 “And (G)the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and (H)lived [c]sensuously with her, will (I)cry and lament over her when they (J)see the smoke of her burning,

New International Version
7 Give her as much torment and grief
as the glory and luxury she gave herself.(A)
In her heart she boasts,
‘I sit enthroned as queen.
I am not a widow;[a]
I will never mourn.’(B)
8 Therefore in one day(C) her plagues will overtake her:
death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,(D)
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.
