9 They came up across the whole earth and surrounded the saints’ camp, the city that God loves. But fire came down from heaven and consumed them. 10 Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet also were. There painful suffering will be inflicted upon them day and night, forever and always.
Final judgment
11 Then I saw a great white throne and the one who is seated on it. Before his face both earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded(A) the camp of God’s people, the city he loves.(B) But fire came down from heaven(C) and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them,(D) was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur,(E) where the beast(F) and the false prophet(G) had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.(H)

11 Then I saw a great white throne(I) and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence,(J) and there was no place for them.
