To the Church in Sardis

3 “And to the angel of the church in ^(A)Sardis write:

This is what He who has ^(B)the seven Spirits of God and ^(C)the seven stars, says: ‘^(D)I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, ^[a]but you are ^(E)dead.

⁴ But you have a few ^[a](A)names in ^(B)Sardis who have not ^(C)defiled their garments, and they will walk with Me ^(D)in white, for they are worthy.
