3 [a]And He who sat there was (A)like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; (B)and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. 4 (C)Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, (D)clothed in white [b]robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 And from the throne proceeded (E)lightnings, [c]thunderings, and voices. (F)Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are (G)the[d] seven Spirits of God.

3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper(A) and ruby.(B) A rainbow(C) that shone like an emerald(D) encircled the throne. 4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders.(E) They were dressed in white(F) and had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.(G) In front of the throne, seven lamps(H) were blazing. These are the seven spirits[a](I) of God.
