14 The heaven disappeared like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15 The kings of the earth, the leading courtiers, the generals, the rich, the power-brokers, and everyone, slave and free, all hid themselves among the caves and rocks of the mountains. 16 “Fall upon us!” they were saying to the mountains and the rocks. “Hide us from the face of the One who sits on the throne, and from the anger of the lamb!

14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up,(A) and every mountain and island was removed from its place.(B)
15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free,(C) hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.(D) 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us(E) and hide us[a] from the face of him who sits on the throne(F) and from the wrath of the Lamb!
